Sunday Bridges - This Time Next Year

”Sava
This time next year we won't be millioners but we'll have a new bridge and congestion on other bridges will be just a bad memories. "The bridge over Sava" will be one of the largest single pylon cable-stayed bridges in the world

Bridge construction works had certain impact on Pygmy Cormorant, a globally threatened species, roosting in the willow stands adjacent to the construction site. In 2008, the observed number of birds was decreased for 25% due to initial disturbance caused by construction works. According to the "Sava Bridge Project", from 2009 the trend has been positive and the number of birds has been increased.
