Goodbye to the leaving sun. Hello to the landing plane (whose trail can hardly be seen).

Shining transformation

It was just an ugly grey transit bridge for years. And then one morning, last week, it just appeared like this. No, it wasn't anybody's official initiative. It was a personal action of a street artist guy. It took him one month to complete his work, working only in the night hours. Really refreshing for this industrial area.

The View

It's hard to resist taking photos of this waterfront strip, whenever I pass by. Again and again.

I remember this figurine from my childhood - nearly every shoemaking shop had it. And shoemakers are not so frequent today.

Nothing helps

Moderate continental climate of this city means freezing cold winters and unbearably hot summers. I wish it would snow now, just a bit.

It's hard to breathe in temperature of 40 C (104 F). The name of the place is Brodic ("small ship" in Serbian).

Something is Better Than Nothing

Spray painting of Al Capone is the highest level of creativity the local football wanna-be hooligans are capable to achieve. The graffiti and its message have been there for years, untouched, shining in its stupidity and lack of humor. No local authority has found it necessary to whitewash the wall. Unless few days ago, when kids from the opposite football group scribbled over it. At least it's funny now. Better something than nothing.
